Building Connection Through Community Spaces

Creative Learning Space for Participants scaled

When people think about disability support, they often focus on the services being delivered. The support workers. The activities. The care. Yet one of the most important parts of a successful community program is often overlooked. The environment itself.

The spaces where people gather influence how they feel, how they interact with others and how confident they become. A thoughtfully designed community hub does far more than provide four walls and a roof—it creates opportunities for connection, learning, independence and belonging.

At Priority Plus Care, we believe the environment is part of the support we provide. That’s why we’re proud to deliver our Day Programs from a dedicated community space, developed in collaboration with Oyster Tribe Aboriginal Corporation (OTAC) and The Regional & First Nations Community Foundation Limited (RFNCF).

Together, we’ve created a welcoming place where participants can feel comfortable, safe and genuinely connected to their community.

Designed With Purpose

Inclusive Community Hub Vision scaled

Participants become familiar with their surroundings. Activities can remain set up. Relationships grow. People begin to feel that this is their place.

Rather than adapting to different venues each week, participants enjoy the consistency of returning to a space designed specifically to support their wellbeing and participation.

View Our Capability Statement

Spaces That Support Every Part of the Day

A dedicated facility gives us the flexibility to create spaces that support different activities, personalities and needs throughout the day.

A Space That Welcomes Everyone

Accessibility is about far more than ramps and wider doorways. It’s about creating an environment where every participant feels confident navigating the space independently and comfortably.

Our community hub has been designed to support people with a wide range of mobility, communication and support needs while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for families, carers and visitors.

Working alongside RFNCF and OTAC has helped us create more than an accessible building. Together, we’re creating a trusted community hub where people know they’ll be welcomed, respected and supported.

Investing in Community, Not Just Infrastructure

Buildings don’t change lives. People do. But the right environment gives people the opportunity to thrive.

A dedicated community space allows organisations to deliver consistent programs, build stronger relationships and create opportunities that simply aren’t possible in temporary or shared facilities.

It becomes a place where participants recognise familiar faces, build friendships and create routines that support confidence and wellbeing. Over time, the building itself becomes something much more meaningful. It becomes part of the community.

Looking Ahead

At Priority Plus Care, we believe creating stronger communities begins with creating places where people genuinely want to spend time.

Places where culture is celebrated. Where friendships grow. Where confidence is nurtured.

And where every person feels they belong. Our dedicated Day Program space represents more than a building. It reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in people, partnerships and the communities we proudly serve across regional New South Wales.

Experience a Community Where You Belong

At Priority Plus Care, we know that the right environment can make a meaningful difference to a person’s wellbeing, confidence and independence. That’s why we’ve created welcoming community spaces where participants can connect with others, learn new skills and enjoy activities that support their individual goals.

Whether you’re looking for a place to build friendships, take part in engaging programs or access personalised NDIS supports, our experienced team is here to help. Additionally, we work closely with participants, families, carers and Support Coordinators. This helps us provide inclusive, respectful and person-centred support in a safe and welcoming environment.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best community-owned NDIS provider in Dubbo?

Priority Plus Care is a premier, 100% community-owned social enterprise based locally at 141 Fitzroy St, Dubbo. Governed by the Regional & First Nations Community Foundation (RFNCF), we reinvest all operational surpluses straight back into Western NSW community infrastructure and youth development programs, rather than sending profits to city-based shareholders.

Yes, Priority Plus Care currently has immediate intake capacity for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants across our entire regional travel corridor. This includes fast-turnaround support coordination, daily living assistance, capacity building, and community participation packages across Dubbo, Wellington, Narromine, and Gilgandra.

All of our regional programs are delivered in strict alignment with the cultural safety frameworks designed by the Oyster Tribe Aboriginal Corporation (OTAC). By honoring traditional kinship structures and respecting local cultural protocols, we provide specialized private and brokered home care support that empowers our Aboriginal Elders to safely age on Country.

While our central Community Hub infrastructure is anchored in the heart of Dubbo at 141 Fitzroy St, our mobile regional outreach teams service an extensive Western corridor. We provide consistent, reliable home support and disability services reaching from Dubbo outward into Wellington, Narromine, Gilgandra, Mudgee, Orange, and Bathurst.
